General Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS BED & BREAKFAST Zijlsterkerk.

Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk applies the following general terms and conditions. These are in effect from the moment of reservation until your stay in our B&B.

1. General

General Terms and Conditions apply to all users of Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk, Methardusstraat 42, 9853PG Munnekezijl

Upon entering into a rental agreement, these General Terms and Conditions come into effect.

1. A copy of these General Terms and Conditions will be provided free of charge to users upon request.

2. Tenants must have a fixed place of residence or stay.

3. The owner is not liable for damage, loss or theft of the users' property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs shall be borne by the users.

4. All risks related to a stay at Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk are at the expense of the users.

5. Damages and losses of movable and immovable property of the owner must be immediately reported and compensated to the owner by the users.

6. Guests should follow the owner's instructions.

7. The owner may deny and/or refuse access to Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk to guests who violate these General Terms and Conditions and/or engage in inappropriate behavior, with immediate effect and without further notice or explanation, and without refunding the accommodation costs.

8. The owner's administration is decisive in case of disagreement unless the users can prove the contrary.

9. Guests of Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk are required to adhere to the following House Rules.

10. Frank Brouwers is the owner and manager of Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk, hereinafter referred to as the owner. The owner may be represented by a proxy.

2. Reservation and confirmation

1. No extra charges are applied for booking a stay at Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk.

2. A rental agreement can be entered into orally, by telephone, in writing, and by email.

3. Upon receipt of your reservation request, Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk will send a confirmation (provided there is availability) and the reservation will be final.

4. Our booking confirmations refer to these General Terms and Conditions.

3. Payment by individuals

1. The accommodation costs at Bed & Breakfast Zijlsterkerk must be paid in advance. It is not possible to settle these at the end of your stay.

The rates can be found on our website among other places.

4. Business Payment

1. The accommodation costs at B&B Zijlsterkerk must be paid in cash or by debit card upon arrival. It is possible to pay by invoice after consultation. These invoices must be paid within 14 days.

5. Cancellation and no-show (not showing up without cancellation)

If, unexpectedly, you are unable to fulfill the rental agreement you have entered into, you must inform us as soon as possible so that we can offer the resulting free date to third parties.

2. In case of cancellation and no show, the contractor pays compensation to the owner.

3. This compensation consists of:

3.1. Cancellation is free of charge up to two weeks before the rental start date.

3.2. In case of cancellation within 2 weeks before the start date, 50% of the amount is due as compensation.

3.3. If cancelled within a week before the start date, 75% of the amount is due as compensation.

4. In case of cancellation and no show on the day itself, 100% of the amount is due.

The amount due under points 2, 3 and 4 should be transferred to the bank account number: NL58RABO0329367943 in the name of Restaurant Simple. You will receive an invoice for this. This must be paid within 14 days.

When an advance payment is made by the contractor, the owner shall reimburse it proportionally as mentioned above.

6. Key B&B

As a guest, you will receive a key to the B&B. Please return it upon departure. As a guest, you are responsible for ensuring the access door to the B&B is properly locked.

Loss of the key will be at the expense of the contractor (€75,) and will be paid by the contractor in cash upon check-out or subsequently by invoice.
