In 2022, the church was extensively renovated and given a new purpose. The building now features three modern double bed & breakfast rooms with private breakfast corners! The old elements of the church building can be found throughout all spaces.
Munnekezijl is located on the edge of the Lauwersmeer National Park, here you can enjoy wonderful walking, cycling or water sports activities.
The nearby village is Zoutkamp with a rich history in shrimp fishing. On the cozy boulevard, this is still abundantly available in various dining establishments.
