This room is named after "De Keersluis", this bridge connects Munnekezijl with Friesland - Groningen. This emergency flood defense has a length of 44 meters (!) and was built in 1882.
At the rear of the church is a central entrance where you reach the room "De Keersluis" via the stairs. This room is equipped with a sitting area with a box spring, and there is a frame in the rear facade that provides access to a small balcony on the southwest. You can of course also use the terrace on the south side of the church.
The separate bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. pool towels are provided.
